In Aristotle approach, good character should manifest itself in behavior and three conditions must be present before a certain behavior can be called a good act:
  • First, we must understand what we are doing and why it is actions
  • Second, what we do, must be freely chosen
  • Finally, the “action must preceed from a firm and to know character”.
An honest act is virtuous only if one does it because one is unchangeable.
Happiness is not chance because we have got rational activity, it's a sort of capabilities driven by reasoning soul. All men, by nature desire good , all human conditions have one or more of these causes: pleasure , nature, compulsion, habit, reason, passion and desire.

freely - behavior – chance - reasoning - good – to know - unchangeable - capabilities – pleasure – activity – conditions – actions
