Aristotle's theory is still acceptable today because it is the constant wish-fulfillment, for Aristotle, desire is the knowledge of the intellect and the prime movement to improve the skills, or what you can do. Desire, however, is not always punishable therefore man will base on it his entire life, on the search of satisfaction of it.
